It all began on a sunny Saturday morning during Round 3 of the 2022 U.S. Open. A few weeks prior, Caroline had emceed a charity event where she was (quite literally) auctioned off for a golf foursome at a golf course in Fresno. That’s where fate stepped in — and so did Conner, with a casual “Hi, I’m Conner!” before the group grabbed some Tito’s and sodas and teed off.

Caroline rode alongside her bestie Kara, and before making the turn, she looked over and said, “Conner’s a vibe… and he’s cute!” Despite being sleep-deprived from her early morning news shift, she rallied and stayed out late with the group post-round — all for a certain someone who was playing it very cool.

Weeks passed, but Caroline started running into Conner more and more at her regular hangouts. Coincidence? Not quite. Conner had been strategically planning happy hours at Pismo’s, watching IG stories like a hawk, hoping for those "accidental" encounters.

Caroline wasn’t exactly subtle either. Every time they crossed paths, she’d flash a smile and ask, “Sooo… who are you dating?” even though she suspected she’d been gently placed in the friend zone. Then one day, Conner casually mentioned he was taking a girl to a Morgan Wallen concert in L.A. Without missing a beat, Caroline fired back, “Nope, you’re taking me!”

She even found the perfect concert outfit while shopping with her mom. When Linda asked, “Where are you going to wear that?” Caroline grinned and said, “When that guy in Fresno finally invites me to Morgan Wallen.”

Eventually, after a few more golf rounds, yoga classes, and dinner dates, the invite came. And that weekend? Pure magic. Dinner at Catch Steak, amazing seats at Crypto.com Arena, and a DJ set — performed by none other than Caroline’s sister, Lexi — where they danced on stage into the early hours of the morning. They laughed their way down the Walk of Fame, hearts full, knowing something special had just begun.

Soon after, Caroline made the move to Houston. Conner didn’t skip a beat. He never let more than three weeks go by without seeing her — proving early on that he didn’t want to go home if she ain’t there. Sixteen months later, he made the move too, transferring to Houston to be with her.

In March 2025, after a dreamy round at The Hay at the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Course, Conner got down on one knee overlooking the Pacific Ocean and asked Caroline to be his forever. A picture-perfect moment on the edge of a golfer’s paradise.

Now, they’re set to say “I do” at Omni PGA Frisco — home of the PGA of America, future site of the 2027 PGA Championship, and the organization Caroline’s dad, Bob, has dedicated his career to as a PGA Professional.

Though they grew up on opposite coasts — Caroline in Pennsylvania and Conner in California — they often marvel at how aligned their values and lives really are. They both attended Catholic schools, played college golf, and cherish time with family — and most importantly, they are practicing Catholics who keep faith at the center of their lives.

They're beyond excited to bring their worlds together and celebrate this next chapter with all the people they love most. So get ready — because this wedding? It’s gonna be One Thing at a Time, and unforgettable every step of the way.
